Marketing Director & Business Development

 

From 2017 through 2022, I served as Marketing Director, overseeing content development, digital campaigns, brand presentation, and marketing coordination across multiple platforms. In 2022, I expanded my responsibilities to include Business Development, strengthening the connection between marketing strategy, customer relationships, and company growth.

My role involved directing the creation of photo, video, and written content while building a comprehensive content library for ongoing marketing use. I regularly visited project sites to document each stage of the construction process, from initial preparation through project completion, creating authentic content that demonstrated workmanship, progress, and final results.

I coordinated closely with the website development team to ensure the company website remained current and reflected changes in services, projects, branding, and customer priorities. I also communicated directly with customers to request reviews, collect testimonials, and secure permission to feature completed projects in promotional materials.

As the marketing team lead, I worked with SEO specialists, campaign managers, and other external partners to guide active marketing initiatives. My responsibilities included:

  • Developing content strategies and marketing calendars

  • Managing campaign priorities and advertising budgets

  • Monitoring campaign performance and audience engagement

  • Reviewing analytics and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Preparing marketing reports and communicating results

  • Coordinating website, SEO, social media, and paid campaign efforts

  • Making strategic decisions based on performance data and company goals

  • Following up with team members to keep campaigns on schedule and aligned with the brand

This position required a combination of creative direction, project management, customer communication, data analysis, and business development. My focus was not simply producing content, but building a consistent marketing system that increased visibility, strengthened customer confidence, documented the company’s work, and supported long-term growth.
